Biopsy Day Miracle
God said "I got this!"
What looked like it could be a problem turned out to not only NOT be a problem but a process that seemed to be better for me!
The masses were on record as 4o’clock and 7o’clock, assuming their locations. The lidocaine for the mass at 7o’clock obstructed the view to be able to retrieve tissue so my doctor said to the tech and team, let’s go to the 4o’clock, get the sample and do a different guided procedure for the 7o’clock.
Uh where is the 4o’clock?
Now a new set of eyes comes into the room. They are re-examining the before images and what’s on the screen now. Thoroughly. Even showing me. One may get worried but I was smiling. The longer they took the bigger my smile.
“Ooh God what did You do?!”
There is no mass at 4’oclock!! Praise dance! She sees only regular tissue. I asked her if the lidocaine could have obstructed the view. Her reply was, “No, I hadn’t used it yet on that area. But very good question!”
I said, “Thank You Lord.” She looked at me and smiled.
So they move me to another area for the other style of procedure. Which requires me waiting a bit longer so they can get that room ready.
And then in I go! I get to sit this time, which is, say it with me, good for my ankle!! Yeah we can’t forget I’m mobile challenged at the moment.
She sticks me with some more lidocaine and it’s on. And out.
I actually giggled when they took it from me and then the three physicians and techs went to a table and were hovering over it.
I said, “I’ve never given birth but it looks like you’ve taken my baby out and are cleaning it up. Can I see it?”
The experience was nonetheless very mild. They had to go deep with the biopsy needle, apparently 7o’clock had situated itself in an odd spot.
I’ll have the results in a couple of days. She has me back in 3 months to check the area again where 4o’clock was supposed to be just to make sure.
